Christmas 1978. For the last 4 months I have walked everywhere bent double either holding both your hands or, recently, with just one finger held tight in your beautiful little fist. As with everything to come you always had less belief in your capabilities than anyone else and then, confidence built, today you strode across a circle formed by all the family and took your first steps in front of a full audience.
